Bushell Raven has been appointed to act as project manager, contract administrator and CDM Co-ordinator for Lord and Lady Cavendish's new landscaping project at Holker Hall.
The project consists of the remodeling of part of the historic Holker Hall garden to form an ‘ovoid amphitheatre-like’ depression in the ground, called Pagan Grove. The scheme also entails the re-routing of limestone footpaths to accommodate the new remodeled ground.
The biggest challenge is to protect the rare trees, such as the great lime which are near or within the construction area.
